Lori J. Chappell earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from Abilene Christian University in 2003. In 2005 she began a biostatistics masters program at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston through the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences. Lori earned a Masters of Science degree in 2007 working with an advisor at M. D. Anderson implementing longitudinal models on measurements related to prostate cancer. Lori joined USRA in May 2008 and is working in the Space Radiation Health Program at NASA Johnson Space Center with Dr. Francis Cucinotta. Her current research involves applying statistical analysis and modeling to radiation biology experiments and implementing radiation cancer risk models.
