Dr. Regina Buccello-Stout received her B.S. in Psychology from The Ohio State University, her M.S. in Human Factors Psychology from Wright State University, and her Ph.D. in Rehabilitation Sciences from the University of Texas Medical Branch. Her doctoral research consisted of examining the effects of sensorimotor adaptation training on functional mobility in older adults. Following graduation, she worked as a research scientist in the Human Adaptation and Countermeasures Division Neuroscience Motion Laboratory at NASA’s Johnson Space Center. Her research in the Neuroscience Motion Laboratory included developing sensorimotor adaptation training protocols to help crewmembers reduce locomotor and balance disturbances when encountering changing gravitational environments.
Currently, Dr. Buccello-Stout serves as Deputy Project Scientist for the Flight Analog Project in the Human Adaptation and Countermeasures Division at NASA’s Johnson Space Center.
