RESEARCH OPPORTUNITIES

The Bioastronautics and Fundamental Space Biology Postdoctoral Research Program aims to provide two-year, mentored postdoctoral research opportunities in diverse areas of space life sciences at several NASA Field Centers. For the 2005 Program, we expect to offer seven postdoctoral appointments.

For information on the type of research opportunities that are available through the BFSB Program, the listing below contains the NASA mentors and their corresponding research opportunities that were available for the 2004 BFSB Program. You may click on the title for each Area of Research to view details on the opportunity.

A major element of the application process requires candidates to develop a Research Proposal (3000 word maximum) that relates to and complements a specific research opportunity posted for that year of the program.

The 2005 Research Opportunities will be posted here in the near future.
