Janice L. Huff, Ph.D.

Dr. Janice Huff is a graduate of the University of Rochester and received her Ph.D. in Microbiology from the University of Virginia at Charlottesville. She joined DSLS in 2004 working as a lead scientist in the Advanced Technology Development Laboratory at Johnson Space Center.

Prior to joining USRA, Dr. Huff served as the Director of Cell and Molecular Biology at BioForce Nanosciences in Ames, Iowa, and was a Research Assistant Professor at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Her current research interests include development of miniaturized biodiagnostic technology for space and medical applications, and analysis of radiation effects on differentiation of adult mesenchymal stem cells.
