The 18th IAA Humans in Space Symposium venue is located within the famous Houston Galleria shopping center in Uptown Houston, where attendees will have indoor access to numerous restaurants, shopping, and other activities. It is also located in close proximity to Houston’s theaters, museums, sports venues, and the world-renowned Texas Medical Center.
The symposium organizers have secured a block of rooms for the symposium participants at the Westin Galleria Hotel located at 5060 West Alabama in Houston, Texas. Beginning July 15, 2010, participants may reserve hotel lodging through the Online Hotel Room Reservation Form, or by contacting the hotel directly via phone or fax.

Symposium participants should specify the " 18th IAA Humans in Space" group code to receive the special symposium rate of $118.00 (single occupancy) or $138.00 (double occupancy). The hotel will apply the symposium rate for participants who wish to arrive a few days early or stay a few days afterward; subject to availability.
The cutoff date for this special rate is March 11, 2011 at 5:00 pm U.S. Central Time. Reservation requests received after the cutoff date will be accepted at the Hotel's prevailing rate based on availability.

If there is a gate across the entrance to any parking garage or lot, the parking in that area is not complimentary. Parking validation for any paid parking is not available.
