GENERAL
INFORMATION
The
Workshop will be held from Sunday, May 16, 2004 through Thursday,
May 20, 2004 at Danfords on the Sound Conference Center on
the north shore of Long Island in Port Jefferson, New York.
This combination of the 3rd International Workshop on Space
Radiation Research with the 15th Annual NASA Space Radiation
Health Investigators’ Workshop offers the opportunity
for investigators from around the world to share the results
of their work and to explore new directions of research to
benefit the health of space explorers. The Workshop will include
plenary sessions and a special forum for invited posters and
exhibits.
Because the workshop has reached its maximum capacity, registration has now been closed to all except presenting authors and committee members. For more information, please contact Kay Nute, 281-244-2099, nute@dsls.usra.edu.
Since a Workshop session is planned to be held at the Brookhaven
National Laboratory, please be aware that all foreign nationals visiting the Laboratory must register via the internet on the
BNL Guest Information System (GIS) by March 15, 2004. Workshop participants should choose Medical Department as the "Department/Division to be Assigned" and John Gatley as the "Host." Foreign visitors should also be prepared to show a
passport; citizens of the United States should bring photo identification.
