July 13 –15, 2007 LOGISTICS HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS: Follow this link directly to the hotel's Group Online Reservation Form specially tailored for the NASA Space Radiation Investigators' Workshop. If you prefer, you may reserve a room for the Workshop by contacting the DoubleTree Hotel Sonoma and noting that your reservation is for the "NASA Space Radiation Investigators’ Workshop." DoubleTree Hotel Sonoma Wine Country USRA has secured a block of rooms at the hotel at the special rate of $108/night plus tax for single or double rooms. The special rate is available only until June 9, 2007. After that date, reservations will be accepted on a Space Available Basis Only at Rack Rate. Remember to make your reservations early! GROUP GROUND TRANSPORTATION USRA has arranged for chartered bus service for transportation from the San Francisco Marriott Hotel to the DoubleTree Sonoma for participants who are registered for both the 18th Annual NASA Space Radiation Workshop participants and the International Congress of Radiation Research. The bus will make one trip on Friday, July 13 at 10:00 a.m. from the San Francisco Marriott Hotel to the DoubleTree Hotel Sonoma. Workshop-provided buses will leave the DoubleTree Hotel Sonoma on Monday morning, July 16 at 7:00 a.m. for the San Francisco and Oakland airports. You may secure a seat on the July 13 and July 16 buses by filling out the Information Request Form. INDIVIDUAL GROUND TRANSPORTATION You may reserve individual airport ground transportation to and from the area airports directly with Sonoma County Airport Express, Inc. This vendor provides door-to-door shuttle service departing approximately every 1-1 ˝ hours from the San Francisco airport or the Oakland airport to the DoubleTree hotel. The cost is approximately $30.00 one way.
